If you have Photoshop, use it. If not, use Gimp.

I'd recommend Imageshack over any hosting site. Chances are you aren't using it correctly if you are experiencing trouble. Try reading this tutorial for help.

Photoshop CS3 also has animation capabilities as ImageReady was gotten rid of in CS3

haha, okaaaaaaaaaaaay, so how? do you use two layers? when i do that, the word on the first layer doesn't show up, so it's gotta be different.
